A QI GONG WORKSHOP FOR WOMEN

circles and cycles

Warsaw October 4–5, 2025

The cyclical nature of women

Led by: Renata Schoch

We dive into the world of circling movements – into the flowing of Qi, blood, and body fluids. In this practice, we meet our body not as something fixed or solid, but as a living, permeable system in constant transformation.

Our bodies are made mostly of fluids – blood, lymph, interstitial fluid, tears, digestive juices, urine… These fluids carry information, nutrients, hormones, emotions. They connect our cells, nourish and cleanse us, and reflect our inner balance.

The circling movements follow natural circles, spirals, and waves – like water, like the moon, like our feminine nature. They nourish Yin, connect us with the pelvis, the heart, and the earth.

The circle is an ancient form – it stands for wholeness, harmony, rhythm, and return. Through circular movements, we reconnect with the power of cyclical life: arising, growing, dissolving, and renewing.

Within us as women lies a deep wisdom – intimately connected to the cyclical principle of life. Yet we have been forced to distance ourselves from it, in order to function in a world that denies the cycle. A world that demands endless growth without honoring the natural rhythm of expansion and retreat.

But rising is always followed by sinking. Movement by stillness. Yang must be held by Yin, just as day needs the night. In capitalism, all Yin qualities are neglected – softness, retreat, receptivity, nourishment. And women are the first – and often the hardest – to pay the price, with our health and vitality.

The way of water reminds us that true strength lies in the ability to flow. That change is not weakness, but life itself. That softness is an inexhaustible source of power.

Through circling movements, we reconnect with this original force. We allow ourselves to feel, to let go, to receive – and to remember the depth of who we truly are.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is open to all women, regardless of prior experience with Qi Gong. No previous knowledge of the practice is required.

It’s for all women who long for flow, connection, and the power of their own cyclical nature.

  • You want to reconnect with your body
  • You want to explore practices dedicated to women
  • You’re looking for a holistic practice that supports physical, emotional, and mental balance

The mission of the Waterways Qi Gong School is to offer women a pragmatic and accessible path to embodiment and a return to inner wisdom. In a world that teaches us disconnection and alienation from the deepest sources of our life force, we seek to rediscover the way to healing—together.
