QIGONG RETREAT
sensing & knowing - qi gong and the intelligence of the body
| Wąwolnica, Poland | 27 – 31 May 2026 |
Slowing down, grounding, sensing deeply….
A WaterWays Retreat for women
This retreat is less about learning something new and more about remembering what has been forgotten.
Remembering the body as a place of intelligence, the feminine as a force of connection, coherence, and wholeness, and the nervous system as a bridge between inner and outer worlds.
Over time, many of these powers have been lost through separation — from our bodies, from our intuitive and cyclical nature, and from deep inner knowing.
When women come together in presence and shared practice, something essential begins to heal: fragmentation softens, and coherence returns.
We invite you to experience Qi Gong as a feminine, cyclical, embodied practice, supported by accessible insights from neuroscience on how these practices directly impact our brains, nerves and body.
Each day unfolds a central theme that speaks to both the ancient intelligence of the body and our modern understanding of how change happens in the nervous system.
We will create our space together around three pillars:
- Grounding: safety & stability
- Circles & Cycles: moving through change
- Listening & Following: trusting inner guidance

WHAT AWAITS YOU
- Daily morning practice (in stillness and in motion)
- Qi Gong practice/lecture, specific exercises around the three pillars mentioned above
- Three lectures with neuroscientific insights supporting the practice, focused on sympathetic/parasympathetic nervous systems, neuroplasticity, interoception
- Evening integration in the group
- Time for recreation, personal reflection, exchange

Location
Siódmy Las is a unique retreat center located in the heart of the Kazimierz Landscape Park, far away from noise, roads, and everyday rush. Surrounded by forests, ravines, and open fields, it offers a natural space for deep rest, regeneration, and reconnection with nature.
This place supports slowing down, listening to the body, and returning to simplicity. There are no televisions here. The real darkness of the night and the star-filled sky support a natural rhythm of rest and being fully present.

Accommodation
We will stay in cozy, natural houses built from wood, stone, and brick, designed in harmony with the surrounding landscape.
The rooms are bright, calm, and filled with simple beauty – with white bedding finished with handmade lace and views of hills, forests, and trees.
Single, double, and four-person rooms are available.
This is a space where it is easy to fall into deep sleep, wake up to birdsong, and truly allow the body to regenerate.

Meals
The kitchen of Siódmy Las is an essential part of the retreat experience. Light, homemade, and full of flavor, it is based on seasonal, natural ingredients and prepared with care and attention.
The foundation is vegetarian cuisine, with vegan and gluten-free options available.
We provide full board: three meals a day – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – as well as access to tea, coffee, and herbal infusions throughout the day.
Breakfasts include sourdough bread baked on site, homemade jams, hummus, vegetable spreads, fresh vegetables, and warm dishes.
Lunch consists of a soup, a main course, and dessert.
Dinners are nourishing and grounding after a full day of practice.
This is food that nourishes not only the body but also the nervous system, supporting lightness, regeneration, and a feeling of being deeply cared for.

Teachers
Renata Schoch is an experienced Qi Gong and Nei Gong teacher, specializing in the female energy path. She has many years of practice and teaching experience, combining traditional Daoist techniques with a modern approach to working with the body and mind. Her mission is to help women find harmony, inner strength, and a deeper connection with their bodies and emotions. She emphasizes the practical application of knowledge and tailoring practices to the individual needs of participants.
“The return of the feminine is not some New Age concept, but a tangible experience we are all able to feel. In our bodies. Deep down, where it’s dark and still. It takes courage and trust to remember the path and the willingness to take on the responsibility for our own healing”
Ewa Andrzejak is a neuroscientist and a long-term Qi Gong and meditation practitioner. Her scientific work, including doctoral research at the Charite Medical University in Berlin, has focused on the biological foundations of neuroplasticity, regulation and mental health.
Through years of Qi Gong and meditation practice, she developed a deep interest in embodied approaches and how the nervous system shapes our capacity for safety, regulation, intuition and change. Within Qi Gong practice, she encountered the very principles she studied scientifically – but this time as a direct, felt experience in her own body – which transformed the depth of her practice.
Ewa’s mission is to bridge neuroscience and Qi Gong in a way that can enrich, rather than replace, lived experience. In this retreat, she will give simple, grounded reflections from neuroscience, offering a new language for what the body already knows, and invite participants to experience their nervous systems from within.
