Gdansk

Led by: Ron Timm

Over the year, we will organise five weekend workshops. These will enable you to work systematically and in depth on specific issues. Workshops in this format give you a solid foundation, provide a comprehensive introduction to qi work, allow you to deeply experience the effects of the exercises and the method and provide the space needed for transformation to take place.

During this workshop cycle, we’ll explore the basic principles and develop skills in working with the body and qi. The Gdańsk workshops can be easily combined into a year-long foundation course in Qi Gong.

introduction to qi gong practice

Gdansk25 – 26 January 2025

Two one-day sessions that complement each other wonderfully, offering both an introduction for newcomers and a deepening of the basics for experienced adepts. The workshop will focus on body-mind harmony, with a particular emphasis on spinal health – a key element for Qi Gong practice and daily wellbeing.

Gdansk26 – 27 April 2025

dao yoga and advanced daoist breathing

Reverse breathing and compression breathing are breathing methods in advanced Qi Gong, Taijiquan and meditation. Dao Yoga postures allow us to open, compress and use different spaces in the body to breathe. In this workshop, we will specifically develop and “breathe” the sides of the body (liver and spleen breathing) and the lower back (kidney breathing).

the six dragons exercise of bagua zhang

Gdansk28 – 29 June 2025

The Six Dragon Exercises can be seen as a Qi Gong companion to the Bagua Zhang practice. They prepare the body by affecting the ligaments, tendons and fascia, increasing their flexibility and range of movement, but also the soft tissue, including the internal organs. In this way, after a long period of concentrated practice, they lead to the formation of the “Dragon Body”, with its characteristic soft and dynamic flexibility.

taijiquan - cloud hands & the five directions form

Gdansk30 – 31 August 2025

Based on the Qi Gong principles of Qi circulation, blood and fluids in the body, we will learn one of the basic Taijiquan movements: “Hands moving like Clouds”. It harmonises the interaction of the right and left hemispheres of the brain, increases our coordination skills, gently strengthens the back, opens the hips and has a calming effect on the nervous system.

zifa gong - spontaneous qi gong, leading and following

Gdansk25 – 26 October 2025

In this workshop we are introduced to the practice of Qi Gong without forms. With all our senses directed inwards, we come into deep contact with Qi and its movements. Following Qi in its natural and spontaneous expression not only releases blockages, but also allows us to experience true authenticity.

buddha-hands - healing hands

Gdansk13 – 14 December 2025

For manual therapists, musicians, artists and anyone who likes their hands and uses them. This special Qi Gong set will connect our heart and hands, making them softer and more sensitive.

Warsaw

Led by: Ron Timm

In 2025, we have prepared a series of six workshops. The programme stands out for its interesting themes, depth and diversity. All the workshops throughout the year complement each other brilliantly. They are designed to enable you to continue your in-depth work and support you in creating your individual practice.

introduction to qi gong practice

Warsaw11 – 12 January 2025

Two one-day sessions that complement each other wonderfully, offering both an introduction for newcomers and a deepening of the basics for experienced adepts. The workshop will focus on body-mind harmony, with a particular emphasis on spinal health – a key element for Qi Gong practice and daily wellbeing.

breathwork, cultivation of stillness and daoist meditation

Warsaw8 – 9 February 2025

Meditation is more than (just) sitting still. We will practise stillness work and meditation in sitting, standing and walking positions, which will also facilitate the integration of the experiences and insights gained into our daily lives. We will learn introductory Qi Gong and Daoist Breathing exercises. This will help us to get in touch with our inner calm and support meditation.

kotau – between heaven and earth

Warsaw5 – 6 April 2025

From a Qi Gong perspective, a flexible, upright and strong spine promotes a harmonious and organised flow of Qi, provides a basis for spiritual work and provides access to higher levels of consciousness. The class will benefit your back, strengthen the correct alignment of your body and musculoskeletal system. You will become more aware of your spine and posture and feel more alive and vital.

yang sheng - nourishing life

Warsaw14 – 15 June 2025

Over two days, we will devote ourselves to the fundamental practice of energy work. This method is called Yang Sheng (Care for Life). Eastern medicine has developed this path to cultivate longevity, not only in terms of extending life span, but more in terms of quality of life.

qi gong walking – “health comes from the legs”

Warsaw6 – 7 September 2025

Walking activates all the body’s pumps, thus improving the circulation of Qi, blood and fluids. In particular, it supports the return flow of blood through the venous system. The Qi Gong walking practice naturally reinforces the positive effects of walking. This practice literally “puts you on your feet”: it develops strength and endurance (of the legs), allows our feet to return to life and health, and helps our backs.

„growing roots“ - how to ground the energy with qi gong practice

Warsaw15 – 16 November 2025

Qi Gong practice always involves grounding methods. In order to be able to work with Qi (energy) and work with it safely, it must be grounded at the outset and always during the practice. In this workshop, we will look at the inner mechanics and ways in which we can sink Qi by connecting with the body, connecting with the Earth, and therefore grounding ourselves and putting down roots.

qi gong and the spine – “the awakening of the spine”

Krakow1 – 2 March 2025

The spine is an expression of the midline and a central channel in the body. A flexible, fit and aware spine is crucial not only for health and well-being, but also for the effectiveness of Qi Gong exercises. The exercises are simple and have a good effect on the condition of the back.

„growing roots“ - how to ground the energy with qi gong practice

Krakow24 – 25 May 2025

Praktyka Qi Gong zawsze obejmuje metody uziemiania.

rising and sinking – waking the qi

Krakow29 – 30 November 2025

Ascension and Descent are the basic, fundamental movements of life that determine our health and well-being. They are expressed in all physical phenomena and functions, such as the seasons, the alternation of day and night, the tides. In this wonderful set of exercises, we learn how to guide Qi, blood and body fluids through specific pathways in our bodies.
