We learn to circulate Qi, blood and fluids in our body in a targeted way. A deep encounter with inwardness!
Workshop description
Contrary to our usual, materialistic assumption and view, our body (and therefore our life) is not something solid and permanent. Rather, we are flowing and changing.
Our body is a living (and conscious) fluid system.
Blood, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), synovial fluid (joint fluid), lymph, tissue fluid (interstitium), digestive fluids, urine, sweat and tears are some of the better-known fluids in our body.
The human body is made up of cells, and these cells in turn are gel-like to liquid in consistency. These cells (and we) have to metabolize and reproduce in order to stay alive. Body fluids, nutrients, oxygen or carbon dioxide, hormones, enzymes, etc. are transported to the cells and also take over the removal of excretory substances (excretion).
A powerful flow of Qi and thus of blood and fluids are therefore the basis and expression of our health, our well-being and our vitality.
The circle is an archaic, original geometric figure. People have been interested in circles since the beginning of time. The circle stands for perfection, infinity, harmony, abundance and order.
Every manifestation is an expression of movement, a circle and the order of a circle arises from circular movements. Qi flows in circles, arcs and spirals. All forms of movement in Qi Gong and also all forms of Taiji correspond to circular movements. In nature, this circling is shown in cycles (sunrise and sunset, seasons, birth, aging and death etc…).
In the Qi Gong of the circling hands we want to let the Qi flow (circulate) effectively and orderly within our body. We want to connect with harmony, perfection, order, but also with the power of circles and circular movements. The exercises of the Circling Hands make us supple and flexible, strengthen the back and legs and improve the interaction of all body structures. Let our lives flow and transform!
The workshop is open to anyone interested. No prior experience is necessary.
