Qi Gong practice always involves methods of grounding. Only, in order to be able to work with the Qi(energy) and to work with the Qi safely, it first and always needs to be grounded.
Workshop Description
Life and the world have never been as fast as in these current times. We are living in dynamics of extreme acceleration. This also causes the energy of our body to move faster and therefore rise upwards. Stress and anxiety, widespread in modern societies, are signs of this strong upwards motion of energy. Others are: tinnitus, headaches, high blood pressure, short breath etc. To counteract these harmful effects, there is a need to ground the energy of the body.
Modern life as such has developed away from the needs of a (human)body and physicality in general. But it is the body that grounds and holds the energy strongly and connects us to the Earth. Qi Gong practice always involves methods of grounding. Only, in order to be able to work with the Qi(energy) and to work with the Qi safely, it first and always needs to be grounded.
In this workshop we will take a specific look at the mechanics and ways of the practice which allow us to sink the Qi, connecting with the body, connecting to the Earth and furthermore grounding and growing roots.
