We develop the basics of Qi work. The focus is on building a center (lower dantien), establishing the interplay between the upper and the lower body, as well as on moving efficiently from the center. Our Taijiquan is learned and practiced as a continuation and extension of Qi Gong skills. The movements become more complex and the flow of Qi, blood and fluids is strengthened and harmonized.
In Qi Gong in motion, the function of the Kua (interaction of the lower and upper body) is at the very beginning. Only when this central and most important pump in the body is initiated, a powerful flow of Qi, blood and fluids can be created. Within the silent practice, we focus on regulating, cleansing and strengthening the nervous system.
We work on the basics of Taiji. While in Qi Gong every exercise is practiced in parallel stance and symmetrically, we now add shifts and steps. We work on the “Taiji cloud hands form” and learn the triangular and half-moon step form. Finally, the 5-directions form will be our first small and compact Taiji form.
The practice sessions are open to all levels and you can join at any time.
The classes are held in German.
